About
The Hirsch Therapy Story
Hirsch Therapy was incorporated on 7th September 2019 when our founder, Sasha Javadpour, became a registered therapist. Since then Hirsch Therapy has grown with Sasha - travelling the same path, fighting the same battles, overcoming the same challenges, and evolving together into the practice it is today. With Sasha at the helm, Hirsch Therapy seeks to be a community partner in mental healthcare - providing a professional, supportive, and genuine relationship to our clients.
We take our inspiration from the stag, or Hirsch in German, which symbolises wisdom, healing, strength, and protection.
Likewise, Hirsch Therapy aims to reconnect our clients to their internal wisdom to heal wounds, develop resilience to weather all storms and gain the strength to reach their fullest potential.
Today, Hirsch Therapy is honoured to walk the path of mental wellness with individuals and couples seeking deeper understanding and a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

SASHA JAVADPOUR
Founder | Psychotherapist | Counsellor
Sasha’s professional journey began with a simple realisation: The impact of psychological distress on human lives is immense; but so are psychological interventions. From that moment on, his mission has been to offer support and guidance to those facing life’s challenges and help them find their way to a more peaceful, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
With over 8 years in the field, Sasha has shaped his therapeutic approach into a blend of compassion, genuine partnership, and evidence-based methods. Grounded in the Person-Centred Approach, Sasha seeks a holistic understanding of his clients and to foster a strong therapeutic relationship. This sets the foundation for discovering internal resources and drives to help empower his clients to grow and overcome. Sasha reinforces this approach with the structured framework of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to provide a clear and concise understanding of the issue and the plan to resolve it. Sasha also incorporates strategies based on Positive Psychology Interventions to amplify his clients’ internal resources and drives to help them stick to the plan and realise their goals.
Together, you can look forward to a journey of insight, resilience building, and hope.
